Information you share

When you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide, together with our correspondence. Our hosting and communications providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and security logs to deliver and protect the service.

Please do not send academic records, application materials, unpublished work, financial details or other sensitive family information with an initial inquiry. We arrange appropriate channels before receiving those materials.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange conversations, provide requested services, maintain appropriate business records, protect our systems and meet legal obligations. An inquiry does not create an account or enroll a family in an engagement.

Students and families

The current Legamus Edge service is designed for students ages 13–17 and their families. This website does not offer independent account registration for children. We address guardian authorization and the student’s own acknowledgment of participation separately during onboarding.

Student materials belong to the student or client. Family participation does not by itself authorize public use of their work, identity, image or story.

Who may receive information

We share information with members of our team and approved service providers who need it to respond to you, deliver agreed services or support hosting, communications and security. Engagement-specific access and processing are described in the family's agreement and privacy consent.

We may also disclose information at your direction or where reasonably necessary for legal process, safety, fraud or security investigations, enforcement, or a permitted corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information for money.

Software and professional review

Approved software may support organization, analysis, consistency checks and service delivery. It supports our team’s work and does not replace professional judgment. Conclusions described as human-reviewed must receive professional review before delivery.

Identifiable student materials and identifiable professional judgment will not knowingly be used to train a third-party general-purpose model without authorization and an approved legal and data-use basis.

Cookies and tracking

The public website does not use advertising trackers or optional analytics cookies. Hosting and security technologies may process technical request information. If additional tracking is introduced, we will update this notice and provide applicable choices before it begins.

Security and retention

Information should be shared only through the channels agreed for its purpose. No website, email service or security measure can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, legal and accounting obligations, security, disputes and legitimate business records. Applicable legal holds may require longer retention. Retention terms for an engagement are provided with its privacy consent.

Your choices

You may ask about access, correction, a copy of your information or deletion by contacting legal@legamusedge.com. Depending on your residence and applicable law, additional privacy, opt-out or appeal rights may apply. We may verify identity and apply legally permitted or required exceptions.

Publicity permission is separate and optional. Declining it does not reduce core services. Permission may be withdrawn prospectively by writing to the same address, subject to applicable law and materials already lawfully published.

Location and changes

The initial service is designed for users in the United States. Before intentionally offering services in another country, we will update the applicable privacy, consent and data-transfer processes.

Updates to this notice will carry a revised effective date. Material changes may receive additional notice where appropriate or required.
